Who doesn’t love meatballs??? This recipe is super easy and definitely delicious! Serve these meatballs alone as an appetizer, or make a meal out of them by serving over rice. Either way you have them, they will be a hit!

1 lb ground venisonvenison meatballs

1 tsp beef bouillon granules

1 Tb olive oil (may substitute with vegetable oil or other cooking oil)

1 small onion, diced

¼ c dry bread crumbs

1 egg

Combine all ingredients in a medium bowl; mix well. Shape into balls, making sure to pack firmly. (I like to use a cookie scoop or ice cream scoop to ensure equal size).  Gently brown in large skillet and set aside.

Sweet and Sour Sauce

1 c packed brown sugar

3 Tb cornstarch (may substitute with flour)venison meatballs

1 c pineapple juice

½ c water

¼ c white vinegar

3 Tb soy sauce

Combine all ingredients in large skillet over medium heat. Stir constantly until sauce is thickened. Reduce heat to low and stir in meatballs. Serve alone as appetizers, or over a bed of rice for a complete meal.
